The Georgia Tech Career Center welcomed 147 employers to campus for the All-Majors Career Fair on January 22, and 23, 2024. Over two days, there were more than 3,500 students who had the opportunity to learn about co-op, internship, and full-time career opportunities. The employers in attendance represented various industries, including automotive, aerospace, nonprofit, biomedical engineering, federal, entertainment, IT, and more.
The career fair is offered within the first two to three weeks of each semester, and it provides an excellent hiring opportunity for students of all majors and class years. In preparation for the fair, the Career Center hosted two days of resume reviews with employers and professionals for students. There were 20 workshops to encourage students to thrive at the fair covering the topics of networking, talking with recruiters, LinkedIn, highlighting skills, and how to follow up with recruiters after the fair.
Thank you
The Office of Undergraduate Education is grateful for the dedication shown by the Career Center staff and the Career Peer Advisors. Planning a large-scale All-Majors Career Fair each semester takes collaboration, effective planning, dedication, and valuing students as our top priority. The Career Peer Advisors are Georgia Tech students who provide advice to their fellow students through presentations, virtual workshop conversations, appointments, and drop-ins.
It’s never too early to begin preparing for the next career fair! You’ll find a list of upcoming fairs on this website: Upcoming Career Fairs.
The Career Center looks forward to welcoming employers, alumni, and students for the Diversity First Career Mixer on March 6, 2024, from 3:00-7:00 pm in the Exhibition Hall.
