Prestigious Fellowships & Awards
This year the Prestigious Fellowships advisors helped 6 Georgia Tech students indentify—and win—a nationally endorsed award. The awards provide funding assistance for undergraduate and graduate study in the U.S. and abroad. The application process itself is also an exciting opportunity to prepare for graduate school, career goals, and more. 2019-20 Student Advisory Board
The mission of the Student Advisory Board is to contribute diverse ideas and perspectives on matters that impact the undergraduate academic experience. This year's board covered topics including advising, mental health, career fairs, and campus culture.

Undergraduate Research Ambassadors
This year, the Undergraduate Research Ambassadors met with more than 360 students during office hours, engaged over 400 students in GT1000 class talks, and provided workshops for more than 260 students. Undergraduate Research Ambassadors (URA) is a mentoring program, using peer undergraduate researchers to help other undergraduates navigate the research process, whether that may be helping someone find a lab position or applying to scholarships like PURA. As part of URA, undergraduate research students are empowered to develop their own undergraduate research programming to facilitate this mentoring.

The InVenture Effect
Now entering its 13th year, the InVenture Prize at Georgia Tech is a groundbreaking competition that exacts months of intensive work from participants. It also provides them with invaluable guidance in design, collaboration, and marketing, and along the way they develop skills that will prepare them for real-world entrepreneurship. Full Story

Financially Supporting Career Aspirations
This year the Career Center funded over $44,000+ of work-based learning opportunities and assisted in offering 30+ co-op scholarships to support GT Students. The generosity of many Georgia Tech alumni allowed for these endowed funds to continue to support students’ career aspirations and serve our community. 3,100 Yellow Jackets Begin Careers at Tech
The 3,100 first-year students who begin classes fall 2019 came from a pool of nearly 37,000 applicants for admission this year — an all-time high, and a 4% increase over the previous year. This year’s incoming class is 43% female. The group comes from 77 countries, 47 states, 1,425 high schools (350 within Georgia), and 96 Georgia counties. Full Story
