On February 25, 2025, Pre-Health Advising hosted a health professions fair in the Klaus Atrium, where health professional schools from all over the country gathered to meet and network with GT students and alumni. Representatives from 30 health professional schools and specialty master’s programs connected with more than 150 current Georgia Tech students and recent alumni. The fair fostered meaningful connections and provided valuable insights into the future of healthcare and their admission process.
During the fair, admissions representatives fielded questions about program offerings and the admissions process. Schools also showcased their unique specialties, research opportunities, and how their programs can help students pave their own pathway to success in healthcare.
For some first- and second-year students, the fair served as a steppingstone toward future academic and professional success and practice their networking skills. Attendees were provided a short questionnaire to facilitate and track their conversations with the different health professional representatives. Completed questionnaires were entered for a chance at winning Georgia Tech merchandise.
All students pursuing careers in the health professions are invited to register with the Pre-Health Canvas site, where they can find a wealth of resources that can help their pre-health journey and supplement their pre-health advising appointments. All current students (undergraduate and graduate), as well as alumni, can find information for joining the Pre-Health Canvas sites and the daily virtual drop-in hours on the Pre-Health Advising home page: www.prehealth.gatech.edu.
