We are pleased to announce that Andrea Comsa, currently serving as the Director of Undergraduate Co-op and Internship Programs within the Georgia Tech Career Center and the Office of Experiential and Engaged Learning (E2L), will be taking on an additional leadership role as the Interim Executive Director of the Career Center.

As Interim Executive Director, Andrea will report jointly to the Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education and the Vice Provost for Graduate and Postdoctoral Education; serve on respective leadership teams; and provide day-to-day leadership for the center, ensuring our students, faculty, employers, and other stakeholders continue to be well-served.

Andrea brings an impressive 20 years of experience in the career services profession to this interim role, which includes 17 years here at Georgia Tech. In her current capacity, she also reports to Dr. Christopher Reaves, Assistant Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education, and has been instrumental in providing leadership and direction for our undergraduate cooperative and internship programs. Her commitment to ensuring the alignment of these programs with Georgia Tech's overall strategy for undergraduate high-impact practices and experiential learning has been evident throughout her career During her interim capacity, she will continue in this role and remain part of the Office of E2L team. 

Before her current role, Andrea has held various roles, including Career Specialist, Associate Director for Employer Relations, Interim Director of Career Services, Senior Director of Operations & Outreach, and Senior Director of Career Education. Her educational background includes an MBA, MSA in Management and BBA in Human Resources from Georgia Southwestern State University. Her education, extensive experience in these positions, and dedication to student and employer success make her the ideal candidate to lead the Career Center during this transition.

Later this fall, we will communicate the next steps in identifying permanent leadership for the Career Center.
