It is with great pleasure that I announce that effective immediately, Ms. Emmie Cass has accepted one of the Exploratory Advising Program Manager positions with Undergraduate Advising and Transition (UAT). 

In this role, Emmie will fully support students, through a reflective process that aligns their interests, skills, goals, and passions, as they explore aspects of their academic identity.  This includes providing advising services - both individual and group - & programming to students considering change of major, seeking assistance in major or minor exploration, seeking assistance in career exploration, and/or those who are referred for assistance in identifying or considering new academic paths.

Emmie holds a Bachelor of Art in Political Science with a minor in Spanish from LaGrange College in LaGrange, GA, a Master of Art in American Studies, with a thesis topic of There Is No I In Team: A Look at Gender Equality in Collegiate Athletic Events, from Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, GA and a graduate certificate in Ethics and Character from the Siegel Institute for Leadership, also from Kennesaw State University. Her professional background includes time spent as an academic & senior academic advisor and working with success services for collegiate athletes.  Most recently, Emmie worked with Kennesaw State University.
