Get ready for the culmination of months of ingenuity and hard work as Georgia Tech presents the InVenture Prize 2024 on March 13, 7:30 – 9 p.m. This faculty-led innovation competition is a platform for undergraduate students and recent BS graduates to showcase their groundbreaking ideas and entrepreneurial spirit. 

Since its inception in 2009, this groundbreaking event has been a cornerstone of innovation, providing students over $500,000 in awards to support their revolutionary ideas. This year, approximately 150 students participated in the competition leading up to the final, showcasing the power of creativity and problem-solving that defines Georgia Tech's spirit. 

After six months of dedicated development and refinement, six outstanding teams have emerged from two rounds of eliminations. These finalists are gearing up for the fast-paced finale where they will pitch their innovative creations one last time to a panel of judges. The stakes are high as the finale determines not only the recipients of a combined $35,000 of prize money but also offers invaluable support with patent filing and a coveted spot in a startup accelerator through Georgia Tech’s CREATE-X program.

• Makr Papr - Revolutionizing Name Tags 
  • Makr Papr introduces an innovative paper that capitalizes on the money spent on name tags. Their revolutionary creation aims to transform the name tag industry, offering a unique solution that combines creativity and practicality. 
• Candor - Democratizing Local Governance 
  • Candor presents an intelligent Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) platform designed for local governments. This innovative solution streamlines constituent complaint reporting, management, and resolution to enhance efficiency, communication, and trust. 
• Breezy - Streamlining Patient Assessments 
  • Breezy introduces automation to patient assessments, streamlining patient flow in medical practices. Their innovative solution aims to alleviate the nursing shortage and eliminate patient wait times, enhancing overall healthcare efficiency. 
• Greek Connect - Simplifying Point Management for Greek Organizations 
  • Greek Connect streamlines point management for Greek organizations, offering a solution that enhances efficiency and organization within these communities. 
• Nalopack - Empowering Communities for Health and Safety 
  • Nalopack, a crossbody bag, equips people to take community protection into their own hands by providing rapid access to the lifesaving drug naloxone. This design challenges stigma and promotes harm reduction. 
• Lilypad Health - Advancing At-Home Gynecological Testing 
  • Lilypad Health is developing an at-home, noninvasive menstrual blood screening tool to test for gynecological diseases, enhancing accessibility to crucial healthcare screening.
