Join the Honors Program and the Center for Mental Health Care & Resources (CMHCR) on Tuesday, September 19th from 5-6pm for a presentation about the mental health at Georgia Tech. Tacos from Willy's will be provided. The event will be in the LLC West Commons Classroom (210 Curran Street Parking Deck), located across the street from Eighth Street South.

The presentation will cover the following topics:

  • Overview of Mental Health Services at Georgia Tech

    • Reviews mental health and wellbeing resources on campus. Discusses CMHCR as the single point of access for mental health and well-being resources, describes the many services offered by the Georgia Tech Counseling Center, and reviews services and resources offered by the Georgia Tech Counseling Center, and reviews services and resources available through Stamps Psychiatry and Health Initiatives.

  • Adjusting to College

    • Participants will learn about the challenges of adjusting to college; ways to manage time and stress/anxiety; and identify social activities to help students adjust to the college environment.
