Three of this year's First-Year Semester Abroad (FYSA) students were elected to serve on Georgia Tech–Lorraine's Bureau des Étudiants (BDE). Bureau Des Etudiants (BDE) translates to “Board of Students” and is the GTL equivalent of Georgia Tech's Student Government Association (SGA).

This small group consists of students who plan social activities, food giveaways, and other events for the student population in GTL. They are given a budget for funding and work closely with administration. 

It is an honor to serve this bright and worldly group," said Noah Pastula, the newly-elected BDE President. "I am dedicated to making their time here the best that it can be.
