Dr. Lacy Hodges came to Georgia Tech in 2014 as the Prestigious Fellowships Advisor. Soon after arriving at Tech, Dr. Hodges was asked to take on leadership of OUE’s academic transition programs, including GT 1000, GT 2000, and Project One. She has extensive experience with curriculum design, program assessment, instructor development, and the student transition experience. In addition to her work with GT 1000 and 2000, Dr. Hodges serves on the leadership team for Georgia Tech’s Effective Team Dynamics Initiative, helping to develop and facilitate workshops for students, faculty, and staff to build effective teams. Before coming to Georgia Tech, she served as an Assistant Professor of English at East Georgia State College, where she taught rhetoric, composition, and World Literature.

Dr. Hodges earned her Ph.D., M.A., and B.A. in English from the University of Florida.
