A flyer to promote the Honors Program volunteering with Klemis Kitchen on February 21, 2024.

Join the Honors Program on Wednesday, February 21st from 3-5pm as we volunteer to stock shelves with Klemis Kitchen. We'll be meeting in the Flag (aka Smithgall) building. No special attire is necessary. We'll be supplied with supply gloves and hairnets, and will be working on “Klemis Kitchen Starter Kits” which will include spices, oil, measuring cups, measuring spoons, and a copy of the newly developed “Klemis Kitchen Cookbook.”

About Klemis Kitchen
Klemis Kitchen is Georgia Tech’s on-campus food pantry for students who are food under-resourced. This is a vital resource to allow those students to focus on their studies without the constant concern of food insecurity. We collect shelf-stable items donated from food drives such as yours and other departments and clubs around campus. We also keep the pantry refrigerators and freezer stocked with leftover food recovered from the campus dining halls.
Currently, around 300 students use the various Klemis locations on campus (the original location in the Bioquad, the Klemis 489 outpost in CULC, the Grace House Community Fridge, and the Graduate Student Lounge in the Student Center).
