Assistant Director for Communications

As Assistant Director for Communications, Rachael Greene provides leadership for all aspects of strategic communications and marketing for the Office of Undergraduate Education (OUE) and its reporting units, including setting and guiding strategies for internal and external communications, brand development, website content and development, social media relations, and other communications initiatives designed to amplify the mission and goals of the OUE.

Before joining Georgia Tech, Rachael served as the Digital Communications Specialist for the corporate marketing department at McNaughton-McKay Electric Company where she organically grew the corporate social media following by 575%, taking their YouTube subscribers from six to well over 4,000 and driving an average engagement rate of 5% annually. 

Prior to her time at McNaughton-McKay, Rachael spent two years teaching English in Bangkok, Thailand and Busan, South Korea. 

Rachael earned an MFA in Creative Writing from Queens University of Charlotte and a BA in English: Writing and Publication from the University of North Georgia. She holds a certification from Forrester in Accelerating B2B Marketing. Her published work can be found or is forthcoming in Columbia Journal, Another Chicago Magazine, The Masters Review, and Blue Mesa Review, among others.
