Program & Operations Manager, First-Year Semester Abroad
Cassy McInnis reports jointly to OUE and the Office of International Education (OIE). She supports all aspects of First-Year Study Abroad program operations for both the GTL and Oxford tracks, including student recruitment, admission, enrollment, orientation, advising, marketing and communication, event planning, program assessment/evaluation, and reporting. During summer session, she teaches sections of GT1000 First-Year Seminar course and design and implements curricular and co-curricular programs for students.
In her previous role, Cassy worked for four years as an Education Abroad Advisor in OIE for exchange programs in Europe and Latin America. Before starting her professional journey at Georgia Tech, she worked as an Immigration Advisor for F-1 students and J-1 students and scholars at her alma mater, Mississippi State University. She is a two-time graduate of MSU earning her Master’s Degree in Public Policy and Administration (MPPA) and Bachelor’s Degree in Foreign Languages, with certificates in International Studies and Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL).
