Students, Georgia Tech alumni, and staff gathered March 12 for the second event in the new “OUT at Work” series, a collaboration between the LGBTQIA Resource Center and the Center for Career Discovery & Development (C2D2).
The Center for Academic Success has more than 100 outstanding Georgia Tech students working as peer tutors, PLUS leaders, and desk assistants. Davira Widianto (pictured left) and Gloria Bowen are two examples of these exceptional student leaders.
Each year, the Center for Academic Enrichment, Team Leader Advisory Board, and GT 1000 Ambassadors host a banquet to celebrate the hard work and dedication of GT 1000 & 2000 instructors and team leaders.
The All-Majors Career Fair is the largest career fair on campus, and one of the Center for Career Discovery & Development's signature events. This year the fair brought more than 350 of the world’s leading companies to campus.
The Center for Academic Success celebrated the annual Tutor Appreciation week on October 2nd through the 6th by holding a number of special events for the more than 100 tutors, PLUS leaders, and assistants who work to help their fellow students be successful.
On the evening of September 16th, Georgia Tech’s 2017/2018 Astronaut Scholars, Sophia Guldberg and Michael Van Akin, were recognized for their achievement at the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation’s Innovators Gala in Washington, D.C.
