Staff Spotlight - Lacy Hodges

Name/Role at OUE:

Lacy Hodges
Assistant Director for Academic Transition Programs
Center for Academic Enrichment

Years at Tech/Years in current role:

4 years at Tech, 3.5 years in my current role

Favorite thing to do outside of work:

Spend time with my daughter, my husband, and my two dogs. I also like trying new restaurants around the city. This has been slightly more difficult since my daughter was born, as toddlers aren’t known for their stellar dining etiquette, but I still try to get to a new restaurant at least once a month.

Hidden talent/something interesting about yourself:

I can solve a Rubik’s cube, a skill I learned a few years ago in order to have a response whenever I need to answer this question for icebreakers or other activities ☺

If you could visit anywhere in the world you’ve never been, where would you go?

“The Land of the Strays,” which is a dog rescue facility in Costa Rica, where something like 1,000 dogs live and roam around hundreds of acres of the island while they wait to be adopted. Hanging out an island with a thousand dogs is literally my dream life.
