C2D2: 11 Students Named Fulbright Semi-Finalists
11 Georgia Tech students have been chosen as semi-finalists for the prestigious Fulbright scholarship and have been recommended by the National Screening Committee. Winners are typically announced in the beginning of April.
The Fulbright Program is the flagship international educational exchange program sponsored by the U.S. government and is designed to increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the people of other countries. The Program operates in over 160 countries worldwide.
CAE/UROP: National Conferences on Undergraduate Research (NCUR)
The Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP) office sought applications for the National Conferences on Undergraduate Research (NCUR). They had 88 students apply and of those 85 were accepted. Two of the accepted students are members of the Undergraduate Research Ambassador program. The conference will be held on April 10-13 at Kennesaw State University.

Jamie joined Georgia Tech in January of 2019. She graduated from high school in May of 2018 and is so excited to be working hand in hand with students and staff of her department and across campus. She spend most of her free time with family, traveling, and adventuring outdoors. She is looking forward to furthering her education in medicine, in hopes of becoming a paramedic one day!
