Dr. Don Pearl will be representing the Center for Academic Success and Georgia Tech as a presenter at the 72nd annual National Conference of Academic Deans, being held at the University of Arkansas, July 18-20. The theme of the conference is “It’s All About the Students,” to which Dr. Pearl will contribute a presentation titled “Empowering Students to Conquer Academic Dismissal.” This talk will give Dr. Pearl the opportunity the share the success of our GT2100 course with a gathering of important leaders in higher education across the country.

NCAD is one of the oldest organizations of academic movers and shakers in the United States, This year, the conference features a keynote by Dr. John Gardner, a luminary in undergraduate success initiatives.


Office of the Provost Mid-Level Administrator Leadership Program

Dr. Chris Reaves (CAE), Dr. De Morris Walker (SSI), and Andrea Comsa (C2D2) were all selected for the new Office of the Provost Mid-Level Administrator Leadership Program. The program will officially begin in August, and more information will be available in next month's newsletter.
