Chancellor's Service Excellence Awards:
The Complete College Georgia at Georgia Tech team, led by Dr. Steven Girardot, Sandi Bramblett, and Debbie Pearson, were recently awarded the GOLD Service Excellence Initiative Award: Increase Effectiveness and Efficiency. CCG was nominated for the Chancellor’s Outstanding Service Excellence Award based on their ability to adopt continuous-improvement methodology that emphasized student and/or employee satisfaction as well as quality of service. The efforts of the CCG team has resulted in improved satisfaction and student retention.
The Chancellor’s Service Excellence Awards were created to honor employees that have gone “above and beyond” their normal job responsibilities. The team efforts stand as a genuine example of Service Excellence - consistently exceeding the expectations of our constituents.
Diversity and Inclusion Fellow:
Dr. Lacy Hodges (CAE) was recently selected to be part of Georgia Tech’s 2018 Diversity and Inclusion Fellows cohort. They received a large number of excellent applications and the selection committee was particularly impressed by Lacy's proposal.
Her proposal focused on Project One. She hopes that inclusion in this cohort, "will be an opportunity to give the program a little more direction and resources."
