Serve-Learn-Sustain's New Site and Course Information

Serve-Learn-Sustain's (SLS) New Site

Over the past year SLS has gone to great lengths to add useful information to their website. In addition to the new look, there is a significant increase in available resources for students, Georgia Tech faculty, and community partners.

The newly constructed "Courses" page now offers an easier way to view specific courses: simply use the drop-down menus to filter SLS-affiliated courses by College/School, "Big Idea", Theme, and type.

SLS is offering one Foundation class for the Summer 2017 session, two Foundation classes for the Fall 2017 semester: Sustainability, Technology, and Policy (Summer 2017); Tech and Sustainable Communities (Fall 2017); and Sustainable Communities and Systems (Fall 2017).

Lastly, SLS offers registration for faculty interested in affiliated courses. SLS-affiliated courses/projects address the SLS theme “creating sustainable communities,” through content and, ideally, community interaction or service-learning opportunities. You can find more informaiton about what makes an SLS-affiliated course, registration, and more HERE.
